On July 19, 2009, Mr. Iyad Samarrai, the Speaker, met at his office in Baghdad Mr. Hans Schumacher, ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Iraq. During the meeting they discussed the latest developments on the political level and ways to strengthen cooperation between the two countries.
